Lace of grace by Jenny Mrrr
“My main inspiration comes from people. I draw portraits and get inspired by human’s beauty that comes not just from their appearance but from the soul.” -Jenny Mrrr
In the past two years, the world has changed thanks to the blockchain and the internet. The traditionally illiquid art market has united with the liquid cryptocurrency-holding public through the use of NFTs.
In this ten part series, we travel virtually to unique locations across the globe to meet individual creators using NFT technology.
In this installment, part four (4) of our series, it is my pleasure to introduce you to a 1/1 digital artist.
An Inside Look with Jenny Mrrr
“Drawing has always been the most important thing in my life. It helps me to express myself and my feelings.” -Jenny

1. How and when did you get into art?
I got into art when I was very little. I don’t even remember my age, maybe 4 or 5 years old. I was drawing at school during the lessons and breaks and that was my real passion. I practiced my skill by reading books and watching videos of people drawing. Then I started drawing for commissions, bought my first tablet and got into digital arts.
2. What inspires you to create?
My main inspiration comes from people. I draw portraits and get inspired by human’s beauty that comes not just from their appearance but from the soul.
3. What is the biggest barrier you face as an artist?
The biggest barrier I faced as an artist was self-hesitation. There are lots of amazing artists and there was a period of time when I used to depreciate myself. But I got over it. And I think this is the best feeling ever.
4. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as an artist?
My greatest accomplishment as an artist was getting into NFTs.
5. Who is one artist living or dead you wish you could speak to for an hour? What is one question you would ask them?
If I could speak to any artist in the world I would love to speak to Aivazovsky. He was a brilliant painter. I would ask him how many times he destroyed his artworks.
6. In what way has crypto influenced your life and work?
Crypto influenced me in the very best way. I found great friends all over the world. I’ve always been dreaming of that. And I’ve grown as an artist. I feel myself much more confident and it makes me very inspired.
7. What is one bad situation in the world that you wish you could improve?
One of the bad situations in the world that I wish I could improve is self-flagellation. I wish all people loved themselves as they are. I think this is one of the most important things that could make our planet better. Because everything just starts from one person.
8. What is one location in your country we all should visit at least once?
The location in my country you should visit is definitely Saint-Petersburg. It’s just amazing.
9. How do you feel NFTs will influence the creator economy over the next decade?
I think that NFTs will influence the creator economy in the best way. Every day our community keeps growing and many talents are coming to NFTs. I think that everyone is going to find something there and it’s not only about money.
