And this entire experience just reminded me even more, that everything is possible, just be patient. Believe in yourself and your dreams, trust the process and never give up! -Vlada Glinskaya

Vlada is a Paris, France based digital artist focused on shapes, geometry and abstract art. She puts her love of art into her pieces, and she’s in the process of expanding her skills into the realm of 3D art.

You can follow her on Twitter and find her art on Foundation and OpenSea.

A Closer Look

I reached out to Vlada to get a closer look into her heart and mind so I could find out about her personal views. Here is what she had to say:

1. How and when did you get into art?

I always was so creative from my childhood. The entire process of creating is my meditation.

For many years, I was drawing with ink on paper. It wasn’t my profession career I was drawing just for me and my soul and was thinking to open my tattoo salon one day.

After I started to draw on tablet and make a digital art, it was such an amazing experience to draw on it. As I was a traditional painter for my whole life, it was so unusual at first, haha!

Also I have been dreaming to learn 3D art for some time. It was attracting me for so long time and this year I was able to buy my computer and start to learn and improve my skills in this way!

Truly so happy and grateful to try new stuff. I really enjoy the entire process!

2. What inspires you to create?

To be honest I’m inspired by everything. Sometimes I can just walk in the garden and think “oh wow, what a beautiful tree or clouds,” haha!

And such simple but beautiful things can inspire me!

Also I love geometry so much and I truly love beautiful buildings or some kind of architecture with different kind of shapes and geometry!

And of course music, can’t live without it! My power, motivation and meditation is art!

3. What is the biggest barrier you face as an artist?

I think it’s all about time. Sometimes it’s so difficult to find a balance between “real life stuff” and social media. As an artist you should be active, communicate with a lot of people every day, support each other, promote your art and so on, but at the same time you want to focus on your art also and spend some time out with your loved ones.

One of my favorite phrases is “Happy mind-happy life.” Everything is possible!

4. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as an artist?

I’m so happy that people resonate with my art and can feel it! All my art pieces have a message and truly so happy to have my people around me who can see the world with the same eyes as me. And when I read messages like: “I can recognize your art from thousands and your style is unique,” it melts my heart. For the artist it’s the best compliment.

5. Who is one artist living or dead you wish you could speak to for an hour? What is one question you would ask them?

One of my favorite artists is Gustav Klimt. I fell in love with his artwork, “The Kiss” and I would ask him if we could to draw something together special for me, haha.

6. In what way has crypto influenced your life and work?

My life was changed completely. When I just moved to Paris, I was working truly so hard every day just to be able to pay for my life, help my family and buy some food.

One day friend of mine told me about NFTs and he told me that maybe I can try to sell my art. And when I sold my first piece I was crying. In a half year I moved to a new apartment, quit my job and started to do what I love with all my heart and make money on it. Sounds like a miracle!

And this entire experience just reminded me even more, that everything is possible, just be patient. Believe in yourself and your dreams, trust the process and never give up!

So grateful with all my heart!

7. What is one bad situation in the world that you wish you could improve?

I wish to everyone to have a peaceful sky, without wars. Be kind to each other, support each other as we are all children of the same planet!

8. What is one location in your country we all should visit at least once?

As I’ve lived in France for quite a long time and it’s my second home, I will tell one amazing location here: Étretat.

9. How do you feel NFTs will influence the creator economy over the next decade?

I think we are still so early here and I think NFTs are a great opportunity to all artists to be independent and absolutely free. And I’m sure it’s just the beginning for all of us.
