Waiting for Spring by kuznetsova_anastasiya
“I help others believe in themselves and show them they can learn how to draw even if they’ve never done it before.” –Anastasia Kuznetsova
Even though we are in a bear market, I am deeply committed to feature incredible artists who are creating in the NFT world. If markets have you down, art can cheer you up.
Before we dive into it this profile, here’s a short educational introduction to the subject of NFTs.
What are NFTs?
Fungible means something that can be easily replaced or that is mutually interchangeable. Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are unique digital signatures recorded on special kind of databased called a blockchain. They are unique tokens that are individual or part of a set of NFTs.
NFTs are different than cryptocurrencies, which are themselves fungible tokens on a blockchain. NFTs display present and past ownership, as well as creation source on a permanent, transparent, decentralized, secure and open-
source database known as a blockchain.
The technology of NFTs embraces and is in the process of disrupting numerous fields: digital art, collectibles, gaming, certifications and personal licenses, IDs, domain names, music, fashion, finance and insurance to name a few.

The pioneers of NFTs will always be the artists who embraced the technology around the world and formed tight communities online. This is one of the reasons why I have been inspired to interview and feature them in this blog series.
Without further ado, it is my honor to introduce my next artist, who also does her fair share in onboarding new NFT artists — Anastasia Kuznetsova.
Who is Anastasia Kuznetsova?
“If I can bring out other people’s emotions, whether it’s positive or negative I am doing everything right.” –Anastasia Kuznetsova
Anastasia Kuznetsova is a digital NFT artist and crypto investor from Russia. She is also the founder of a large digital art school where they help students to learn digital art and also join the world of NFTs.
You can find her on Twitter and Instagram and check out her art on OpenSea, including her “Juicy Hot” collection.
A Closer Look
I reached out to Anastasia to get a closer look into her heart and mind so I could find out about her personal views. Here is what she had to say:
1. How and when did you get into art?
My mom sent me to art school at the age of four. I tried different activities in my life (dance, sewing, knitting and much more) but I chose digital art when I was 18 because I understood that it was my future.
2. What inspires you to create?
I am inspired by traveling, people in my life and works of other artists.
3. What is the biggest barrier you face as an artist?
Negativity and criticism which I faced at first. Sometimes people who are not familiar with art and do not understand that art is purely subjective have written to me in my social media stating that my arts are not good enough. It made me feel like something was wrong with me but then I realized that it is not possible that everyone likes what you do. If I can bring out other people’s emotions, whether it’s positive or negative I am doing everything right.
4. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as an artist?
My greatest accomplishment is that I can monetize my skills and I can bring art into the lives of other people. I help others believe in themselves and show them they can learn how to draw even if they’ve never done it before. I show them by my own example that you can make your hobby the main source for your earnings.
5. Who is one artist living or dead you wish you could speak to for an hour? What is one question you would ask them?
Have you heard that Adolf Hitler have made arts? He was told by one of his school teachers that his arts were terrible and he stopped making them. I would tell to Adolf that his arts are great and that he should continue to draw despite what his teacher told him.
6. In what way has crypto influenced your life and work?
I now understand that cryptocurrency is our future because we can lose our money and everything which is material but cryptocurrency and exchange markets will exist anyway. So when I learned how to use it I became safe because no one can ever take this knowledge from me.
7. What is one bad situation in the world that you wish you could improve?
I want that cryptocurrency would only grow and be stable.
8. What is one location in your country we all should visit at least once?
I would definitely say it is a Russian sauna in Karelia (it is a republic of Russia situated in Northern Europe between the White and Baltic Seas with amazing landscapes, forests, lakes and natural parks)
9. How do you feel NFTs will influence the creator economy over the next decade?
Creators, collectors and investors will be richer. I am sure that NFT will develop much more in the future and everyone’s life who will come into NFT world be better.
