Cereal Club’s physical cereal line will amplify Web 3 ownership. Here’s how:

  • Tasty cereals will be distributed to retail stores across the country. (This sounds small but setting this up took extensive preparation, logistics, supply chain and negotiation work to pull off.)

Competition

One of their main competitors, a startup known as Magic Spoon, recently raised $75 million dollars in funding. This was done without a strong website like cereal.com and without NFTs; just by selling cereal online.

Cereal Club is focused on building out real-world products as the foundation, and following it by adding functionality using NFTs and cryptocurrency, the startup seeks to accomplish the best of both worlds – building in the innovative and space, while avoiding the brunt of the risk in this nascent market.

Outlook

Like other Web 3 companies, Cereal Club’s plans are bold. However, in stark difference with other projects I have seen out there, they have a very real-life use case fully worked out that is a foundation to their plans. Something most will agree on, breakfast. That also brings a real-life income stream to support the business’s essential activities. 

Cereal is just the next, not the last building block, in Cereal Club’s quest to be the start of every consumer’s day and entry point into Web 3.
